When we started CAU, our vision was to create a restaurant that would fit perfectly in the heart of Palermo, Buenos Aires. If we could replicate that spirit, vitality, passion and sense of fun, we knew CAU would be a home from home for our diners.
At our restaurant, right in the heart of Amsterdam, you can watch the chefs prepare fresh food daily in our open kitchen or take in the view of the lively Damstraat. We also offer year-round al fresco dining on our outside terrace.
Our beef comes direct from La Pampa region of Argentina where cattle rearing is taken as seriously as religion.
Our dedicated herds of Aberdeen Angus have a natural, free roaming life and are 100% grass-fed providing flavoursome meat with beautiful texture. Our beef arrives perfect for the coal grill remaining tender for serving.
We take the finest prime cuts of beef which is wet aged for at least 30 days to bring out the flavour of the meat without losing any of its juiciness.
